Hey Daniel! So glad to see Book 1 posted and I admire you for your putting your talented work out there like you have, without trying to tack on a cost to it. That says a lot about an artist/writer and his love for his work. Not that the work itself doesn’t show it too! I can’t wait to sit down with my laptop at home to read the rest of it… I only got a little ways in, as I am at work still. Good stuff so far.

I’ll give you my reaction to the rest soon (surely more praise)

    Matt

    Thanks Matt!
I look forward to your response. Hope you enjoy it.

I saw your sketches in ImagineFX issue and found your website. I spent this fine saturday reading the Dakota book one, and I enjoyed it very much. The beautiful pictures and the thrilling story go together very well. You got me all inspired to plan on writing an illustrated story of my own, thank you about that too!
I’m looking forward to hear about book 2 soon :)

  4. Daniel Landerman:

    Thanks, Vilma!
They did a great job at ImagineFX and I’m really glad you liked DAKOTA RAWHIDE BOOK 1. BOOK 2 is available here: http://www.indyplanet.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=4044
It’s not free like BOOK 1 :/ Sorry. Other than that, I would say you should certainly write/illustrate something. Create! Always! That’s what keeps me sane and happy.
    Cheers,
    ~Daniel

Oh, but I prefer to read a real paper books instead of digital anyways :) Have to order it soon, thanks!

  6. Daniel Landerman:

Right on. Something physical is always nicer, especially when images are involved.
I will apologize in advance for the potentially complicated nature of the visual integration. Follow the asterisks and you should make it out okay ;)
